A house
that takes
its time.
A stone-built studio perched above one of the most beautiful villages in France. Le Barry: five steps past the last roof of Montpeyroux — and a silence that quietly changes things.
Le Barry · Montpeyroux Above the village,
almost outside time.
Le Barry is a perched hamlet that overlooks the rooftops of Montpeyroux. You arrive on foot, and you find yourself lingering without noticing.
The studio takes up the ground floor of a stone-built house. Thirty-two square metres, thoughtfully reimagined: an open-plan kitchen, a spacious sleeping corner, a light-filled bathroom. Every detail has been chosen so that you feel at home from the first minute.
Outside, the AOC Languedoc vineyards, the garrigue scrubland, and paths that lead all the way to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert — and that particular silence you only find here.

A territory
at walking distance.
Vineyards, gorges, perched villages and Mediterranean shores — all within 45 minutes. But first, take time to look at what lies just beyond the door.
Montpeyroux AOC vineyards
Organic estates with tastings by appointment. One of the most singular terroirs in the Languedoc region.
Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert
One of the 'Most Beautiful Villages of France', UNESCO-listed Abbey of Gellone, medieval lanes and the Devil's Bridge.
Hérault Gorges
Swimming in clear water, canoeing, garrigue trails, climbing cliffs. The river just nearby.
Montpellier
Tram from La Boissière, Place de la Comédie, Fabre Museum — city life on demand.
The Mediterranean
Beaches at Sète, lagoons, La Grande-Motte, Cap d'Agde. The sea after the garrigue, a journey in itself.
The Way of Saint James
The Arles route (GR®653) passes right by the house. A recommended stop for long-distance walkers.
